A virtual museum about mixed marriages in the U.K
10/08/2012
This week, I would like to point out a comprehensive internet website: TIMELINE MIX-D MUSEUM
This website explores the story of mixed race couples and families in the United Kingdom between 1900 to 2012 with a special emphasis on the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s, a time when interracial couples were viewed negatively by both British authorities and society. The website is very interactive with well written personal stories, photos and, at times, video clips interviews. The link to this fascinating website is: http://www.mix-d.org/museum/timeline
